Raw material preparation: Select high-quality polyester chips as the basic raw materials. According to the product design requirements, some functional additives may be added, such as special additives to improve elasticity, pigments to improve color fastness, etc. These additives need to be accurately measured to ensure uniform mixing.
Spinning process:
Melt spinning: The polyester chips are melted at high temperature (generally about 280-300℃) to make them into a melt with good fluidity. Then they are extruded through the tiny holes on the spinneret to form extremely fine filaments. The number and diameter of the holes in the spinneret determine the number and thickness of the single filaments in the yarn.
High-speed stretching: The newly extruded filaments are stretched at high speed under specific temperature and speed conditions. This process not only orients the molecular chains of the fibers and improves the strength of the fibers, but also plays a key role in the formation of elasticity. The elastic properties of the yarn can be adjusted by precisely controlling the stretching multiple and temperature.
Post-treatment:
Heat setting: In order to stabilize the shape and elasticity of the yarn, the stretched filaments need to be heat set. Under certain temperature and tension, the internal structure of the fiber is further stabilized to prevent excessive elasticity attenuation during subsequent use.
Twisting or deformation treatment: Depending on different application requirements, the yarn may be twisted to increase the strength and cohesion of the yarn; or through deformation processes such as false twist deformation, the yarn may obtain a more complex curling shape to further improve elasticity and fluffiness.
